What happens if a client opts out of SMS messages?+
Clients who reply STOP to any message are immediately marked as opted out. All remaining automation steps for that contact are permanently skipped. Opt-out is recorded at the contact level. This is fully compliant with TCPA requirements.
Can I add extra automation steps beyond the default four?+
Yes. The Spokk flow builder lets you add custom SMS steps with your own message and timing. For example, a 6-month anniversary check-in, a refinance opportunity message when rates drop, or a testimonial request at 30 days post-close.
Does the automation work if I have multiple loan officers?+
Yes. Each closing is associated with the specific loan officer who handled it. The feedback form can ask the client to rate that officer specifically. Automation runs identically regardless of which team member handled the loan.
Is there a cooldown to prevent over-messaging clients who refinance multiple times?+
Yes. You can configure a feedback cooldown in days. If a client closes a second loan within the cooldown window, the automation will not re-trigger until the cooldown period expires. This prevents over-messaging clients who do multiple transactions with you.
