Frequently asked questions

How do I trigger the automation?

Via QR code check-in, REST API call, or HubSpot workflow. Any of these starts the full SMS sequence for that customer.

Can I customise the SMS messages?

Each step has a default message that works well out of the box. You can customise the text and timing in the automation settings.

What if the customer already left a review?

Spokk tracks review link clicks. If a customer already clicked the review link, the review request step is automatically skipped.

Does automation require Twilio?

For businesses outside Sri Lanka, Twilio is used for SMS delivery. Spokk provides step-by-step setup instructions. Sri Lanka businesses use Spokk's built-in SMS.

Can I have different sequences for different locations?

Currently one active sequence applies per company. Multi-location support uses the same sequence across all locations.
