On the Pro plan, Spokk takes nothing on top of Stripe processing fees. On Growth, a 10% platform fee applies — designed so the upgrade pays for itself once you reach about $2K/mo in membership revenue.

Frequently asked questions

Where does the money go?

Straight into your Stripe account. Spokk uses Stripe Connect, which means you connect your own Stripe Express account during setup. Stripe pays you out on your normal payout schedule. Spokk never holds your money.

What countries are supported?

Memberships are available in 47 countries where Stripe Connect operates, including the US, UK, Canada, Australia, India, Brazil, Mexico, Singapore, the UAE, and most of Europe. Full list shown during setup.

How are payments processed?

Stripe handles all card processing. Customers enter their card details on a secure Stripe Checkout page, and recurring billing is managed by Stripe. Your customer is charged automatically each billing cycle (monthly or annually) until they cancel.

Can I offer monthly and annual billing?

Yes. Each tier can have a monthly price, an annual price, or both. When a tier has both, customers see a monthly / annual toggle on your portal and Spokk shows the savings percentage. The MRR figure on your dashboard amortizes annual subscribers (annual price divided by 12) so the number stays comparable across billing intervals.

Can I have more than 3 tiers?

You can configure up to 3 active membership tiers per business. Most service businesses do best with one or two tiers. Three is plenty for good / better / best pricing.

How do customers cancel?

Members can cancel themselves through a Stripe-hosted billing portal that links from your member page. Cancellations take effect at the end of the billing period.

Does it work with my existing customer list?

Yes. You can add existing members manually so Spokk tracks them in the same dashboard, even if they pay you offline. Stripe-billed members and manual members live side by side.

Which Spokk plan do I need?

Memberships are available on the Growth and Pro plans. Starter customers can upgrade at any time from the dashboard.

Are there transaction fees?

On the Pro plan: 0% platform fee from Spokk. You pay only standard Stripe processing fees on each charge (typically 2.9% + 30 cents in the US). On the Growth plan: Spokk takes a 10% platform fee on top of Stripe processing — this is what funds your access to memberships at the lower price point. Once your monthly membership revenue exceeds about $2K, the Pro plan pays for itself purely on the fee savings.
